Unimed Pharmaceuticals is a brand-generic producer established in 2013. The company aims to increase access to medicine in Sudan and neighbouring countries. Initially the company started as a contract manufacturing facility that provided manufacturing facilities to other plants while the company was registering its own products. Since 2017, Unimed Pharmaceuticals has two licensed products in its portfolio: Paracetamol & Metronidazole. Our pipeline currently includes 32 candidates that offer much needed pharmaceutical therapies and treatments.

At Unimed our vision is of a world where everybody has equal access to medicine. Our mission at Unimed is to improve the lives of people in communities we serve through increasing access to affordable and innovative medicines. In the next 10 years we aim to:

 Provide unique pharmaceutical therapies and treatments that are much needed locally and are not supplied by our peers.
 Contribute to increasing access to medicine in Sudan and neighbouring countries by providing high quality and accessible medicines.
 Form courageous and successful partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers who share our values.

History

Luqman Group founded the subsidiary ,Unimed Pharmaceuticals® in Khartoum, Sudan in 2013. Since then, the company has grown from a single production line into one of Sudan's key suppliers of Generic pharmaceutical products.Based in Khartoum – the capital of Sudan.Unimed Pharmaceuticals® has over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing, packaging and distribution facilities; in addition to a sales and customer support office in Khartoum, Sudan.
